Our apartment is located in a quiet and picturesque part of Špindlerův Mlýn, specifically in the Medvědín area. This location offers perfect peace and quiet for relaxation while ensuring excellent access to the town center, which is just a pleasant 10-minute walk away. You will receive the exact address and arrival instructions immediately after your booking is confirmed.
How far is it from the apartment to the nearest ski slope or lift?
The apartment’s location is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. The nearest ski resort, Medvědín, is just 250 meters away. A stop for the ski bus, which offers free transport to all the main ski areas in Špindlerův Mlýn, is located about a 5-minute walk from the building. In the summer, hiking and cycling trails start right at the apartment’s doorstep.
Is there parking available near the apartment, and is it free?
Yes, the apartment includes one reserved parking space in the building’s underground garage, which is completely free for our guests throughout their stay. You won’t have to worry about finding a spot or paying municipal parking fees. A second car can be parked, by prior arrangement, at the public parking lot near the Medvědín ski area.

What is the capacity of the apartment, and what is its layout?
The apartment features a modern layout one-bedroom apartment with a living room that includes a kitchenette and an area of 80 m². It offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people, featuring a separate bedroom with a double bed and a bed for 2 children, a living room with a sofa for 2, and a modern bathroom. It is ideal for families with children, couples, or groups of friends.
Is the kitchen fully equipped for self-cooking?
Yes, the kitchenette is fully equipped with everything needed for comfortable cooking. You will find an induction cooktop, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, an electric kettle, and, of course, a complete set of dishes, pots, and cutlery.
Does the apartment have Wi-Fi, and is it suitable for remote work?
Yes, secure, free, fast, and stable Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The internet connection has sufficient capacity for demanding remote work, video conferencing, and online meetings, as well as for streaming high-definition movies in the evening (Netflix, etc.).
Is there a storage space for skis in the winter and bicycles in the summer?
Certainly. You have access to a secure, lockable basement storage unit right in the building, reserved exclusively for our apartment guests. In winter, it provides safe storage for skis, snowboards, and cross-country skis, while in summer, it serves as a secure storage area for your mountain bikes or e-bikes.
Arrival, departure, and terms of stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Based on availability and provided there are no back-to-back bookings, we are happy to arrange an earlier check-in or later check-out upon prior agreement.
Are pets (dogs) allowed in the apartment?
We apologize, but to ensure absolute cleanliness and out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted in our apartment. Thank you for your understanding.
Is the accommodation suitable for families with small children? Do you have a crib?
Yes, our apartment is perfect for families with children. We are happy to provide a folding crib and a high chair for your little ones free of charge.
Booking, prices, and cancellation
What is included in the price of accommodation?
The accommodation price is final and transparent. It includes the rental of the entire apartment, utility costs (water, heating, electricity), final cleaning, the use of bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels, Wi-Fi access, and parking. The price also includes the local tourist tax payable to the town of Špindlerův Mlýn, in accordance with the town’s generally binding ordinance. This tax amounts to CZK 40 for each day of the stay, excluding the day of arrival.
What are the cancellation policies in the event of a reservation cancellation?
We understand that plans can change. We offer free cancellation up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival. For cancellations made closer to the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total cost of the stay. Should you need to cancel at the last minute due to serious reasons (such as health issues), we always strive to find an individual solution or offer an alternative date.
Surroundings and activity tips
Where to go for a meal or shopping close by?
For smaller grocery shopping, we recommend the JIP supermarket right in the town center, located about a 3-minute drive away. If you prefer not to cook, Restaurant Locale Friuli offers excellent cuisine featuring both mountain cuisine specialties and international dishes. It is about a 15-minute walk from the apartment. For great coffee and dessert, we recommend Bogner Pavilion Caffe, located in the town center.
What to do in Špindlerův Mlýn when it rains?
Špindl offers plenty of activities even in bad weather. We recommend visiting the local Aquapark at the Resort Špindl Hotel, which features water slides and a wellness zone. Excellent relaxation can also be found at the luxury wellness centers in the Harmony and Bedřichov hotels, both of which are open to the public. With children, you can head to the indoor bobsleigh track (which is partially covered) or the nearby Lego Museum.
